Strategic leadership

•    Drive financial strategy aligned with overall company goals
•    Lead margin and EBITDA improvement initiatives
•    Provide financial insights and expert advice to support executive decision-making
•    Develop global pricing strategies in collaboration with the CEO and Sales leadership
•    Assess financial risks and opportunities to guide strategic planning.


Operational excellence

•    Oversee financial operations across the US, Germany, and Switzerland
•    Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with Swiss accounting standards
•    Manage accounting, tax, payroll, and audit processes
•    Monitor and optimize cash flow, liquidity, and working capital
•    Enhance financial systems, controls, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
•    Lead the finance department, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational goals
•    Act as primary contact for auditors, tax authorities, and banking partners
About the position
As a CFO, you will oversee all financial aspects of the company, including strategic financial planning, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and risk management. You will play a vital role in supporting decision-making at the executive level, ensuring financial health across all entities, and driving continuous improvement of financial systems and processes. 

In this role, you’ll take a hands-on approach within the finance department while working closely with the CEO to streamline processes, enhance performance, and fully unlock ndd’s potential in the market. Financial forecasting is vital for advising the Executive Team and the Board on upcoming potential challenges and possible solutions. Your profile
  • BS or BA degree in Business, Finance or related field; Master's degree in Business or Accounting preferred (or equivalent).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial leadership, ideally in an international or SME context.
  • Extensive professional experience in budgeting, financial reporting, accounting, and in-depth analysis of profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Proven track record in leadership.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in financial accounting, including consolidation and closing of financialstatements.
  • Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, and strong business acumen.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems in finance, as well as BI/reporting tools and report-building.
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels, including interaction with investors and Board of Directors.
  • Proven experience in product costing, production cost analysis, inventory management, and investment planning.
  • Deep knowledge of Swiss financial regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Power BI.
  • Fluent in English and German, with the ability to interpret and apply complex contractuallanguage.
