Tasks
  • Lead & develop the IT Support Team, fostering growth and operational excellence.
  • Plan, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure to support scalability and business continuity.
  • Ensure the performance, availability, and security of all cloud-based services and applications.
  • Collaborate with the IT Security Manager to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures in compliance with industry standards.
  • Implement and refine IT strategies in close collaboration with the CTO to ensure an efficient and resilient infrastructure, including servers, networks, high availability, and disaster recovery systems.
  • Lead IT projects end-to-end, including scope definition, resource planning, budgeting, and timeline tracking.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and key stakeholders to align IT solutions with business needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate service contracts, and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
  • Ensure IT systems and processes comply with relevant industry regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO 13485, GDPR, etc.).
  • Maintain comprehensive IT documentation and support internal/external audits.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure that supports our organization’s operations in a highly regulated environment. Your strong background in IT, deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, and understanding of regulatory compliance within the medical device industry will be key to ensuring efficient, secure, and resilient technology operations. Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree or IT Security certification (e.g., CISM, CISSP) is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management roles.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure: architecture, deployment, monitoring, and governance.
  • Strong technical expertise in networking, servers, storage systems, and virtualization technologies.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity tools, best practices, and risk mitigation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards for the medical device industry is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Effective communication as well as leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English and German (C1 level, both written and spoken).
